Downtown New York City in the early 90s was a magical place and time for rock music, with a burgeoning scene and hip clubs galore. Striding like conquering giants into this fertile milieu came THE PINEAPPLES, whose gigs inspired the reverence of fans and other musicians alike. They took the scene by storm, sharing the stages of CBGBs, Maxwell’s, the Knitting Factory and Brownie’s with the likes of Hole, Helmet, Sonic Youth, Lunachicks, White Zombie – hell, even Juliana Hatfield.

It’s a new century, and The Pineapples have returned. Welcome to the web site.
